Well done to Beverley Peace who ran her first ever marathon in Hull and raised £691 for a cancer charity in support of Jess a friend’s niece who is suffering from a rare form of the disease. Bev said, “I would like to say a very sincere ‘thank you’ to everyone who sponsored me.”
Katie Blunt and Team took part in ‘It’s a KNOCKOUT’ during June at Roundhay Park, Leeds. The event was to raise funds for Children’s Heart Surgery (to support the paediatric cardiac unit at Leeds General Infirmary). The team doubled their target and finished at £2,000. Thanks for all the Sponsors.
Our supporting teams attended an eventful charity day with lots of running, shooting, golfing, jumping, ducking, archery and fundraising. We thoroughly enjoyed the site walk round we arranged for local school children, of our Co-op fit-out project in Hucknall. We feel it’s really important that young people are given the opportunity to experience construction, and an insight into how the built environment around them is formed.
