Carol Watkinson BA(Hons), FCMA
Finance Director



 


Carol is a highly qualified Chartered Management Accountant, and has worked during her career in senior positions for a number of companies in several fields, including construction, manufacturing and textiles.

She assisted Chris in setting up HB Projects, and for several years continued on a consultancy basis providing advice and support with the financial aspects of the business.

Since the Company has grown larger, and with the setting up of the 3 sister companies, which also involved the acquisition of another cold-store company, Carol is now a full time member of the team, with responsibility for Finance and HR.

Carol is assisted by Jodie Ingham, Office Manager, and their team, Vicky, Amanda, Rachel and Angela.

Jodie Ingham / Office Manager




Jodie has been with the Company since 2001, and looks after General Administration, Purchase Accounts and Wages. She also undertakes these activities for HBMS Cladding Ltd, our related roofing business.

Jodie is currently studying for an AAT qualification and assists Carol with management accounts and other finance related activities, as well as supporting the Directors.


Vicky Seage / Accounts Administrator



Vicky has been with the Company since 1996, and is responsible for weekly and monthly wages and salaries, and a number of book-keeping activities. She now works part-time.


Amanda Anderson Office Administrator

 

Amanda joined us in July 2008. She ensures that supplier and subcontractor invoices are dealt with promptly and accurately, liaises with Purchasing and Contracts to obtain approval and then passes invoices to Jodie Ingham for payment.


Angela Zengin / Receptionist



Angela joined us in February 2008, when we moved to our new premises. With 27 of us now in the office, her assistance with incoming telephone calls, typing and calendar/diary management is invaluable, and she also assists Jodie with many of the other administrative tasks an office of this size requires.
